9 Students, 1 Adult Injured In Hudson Valley School Bus Crash Nine students and an adult were injured during a two-vehicle crash involving a school bus in the region. The crash occurred in Orange County around 9 a.m., Monday, Oct. 28, at the intersection of Route 52 and Route 17 in the town of Crawford. SUV Crashes Into Rockland County Home An SUV plowed into the front of a Hudson Valley home after being in a crash with a school bus.  The incident occurred in Rockland County on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Laurel Road and Glenside Drive in New City. According to the Clarkstown Police, the SUV struck a Clarkstown Central School District bus while turning left onto Laurel Road.  A preliminary report indicated the SUV was traveling above the speed limit, causing it to veer off the roadway and strike a nearby house, police said. The crash took place early Wednesday, Jan. 26, on Route 17 in the Orange County town of Wallkill, said Trooper Steven Nevel. Although one lane of traffic has opened, traffic is being diverted at Crystal Run Road, Nevel said. No information regarding injuries was available at this time. Injuries Reported In Rockland School Bus Crash Two drivers suffered injuries after a car and school bus collided in Rockland County. Ramapo police said the crash occurred around 9:10 a.m. Monday in the area of 399 Route 306 in the Village of Wesley Hills.  The school bus was not occupied by students and both the driver of the bus and the other vehicle sustained minor injuries, police said. Route 306 was closed while the vehicles were removed but has reopened.
