Overturned Vehicle Closes Both Directions Of Route 22 In North Salem
A crash involving an overturned vehicle has left all lanes of a busy Northern Westchester roadway closed. The crash happened on Thursday, Dec. 5 at around 5:15 p.m., when a vehicle flipped on Route 22 in North Salem between Sun Valley Drive and Sun Valley Heights Road near Interstate 684, according to reports. A new traffic pattern will be in place for more than six months on a busy roadway in the region. Hudson Valley Bridge Reopened to Traffic Following Construction
A Hudson Valley bridge has reopened to traffic following replacement of the old structure. The Dutchess County Department of Public Works announced that the replacement of a bridge on Ridge Road in the town of Dover had been completed, and the structure had been opened to traffic. Work has commenced on a multi-million dollar project that will restore a well-used stretch of highway in Westchester, officials announced. In an announcement this week, New York Gov. Traffic Alert: Bridge Replacement To Close Roadway In Region
Drivers should note that a section of a Sullivan County roadway will be closed for a bridge replacement. The replacement will occur in the town of Cochecton on County Road 115—Odell Road. The bridge is located immediately west of the intersection of Fred White Road with County Road 115, said Dan Hurst, spokesman for Sullivan County.
