21-Year-Old Accused Of Impersonating Homeland Security Officer On Long Island
A Long Island man has been apprehended after authorities say he impersonated an officer. According to Nassau County Police detectives, Seth Newman, age 21, of Great Neck, was driving a black 2021 Dodge Charger in New Hyde Park in the vicinity of Marcus Avenue and New Hyde Park Road at around noontime Sunday, Oct. 27. He then activated amber flashing lights and a siren and was observed with what appeared to be a black handgun located near his hip, said police. King Kullen Closing This Long Island Store After 30 Years
Long Islanders will soon have one less option when it comes to buying groceries. Supermarket chain King Kullen is set to close its Levittown store after 30 years in business, an employee confirmed to Daily Voice. The store will close for good at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3. Employees are being offered positions at the grocer’s other Long Island locations. A lottery ticket promising a five-figure payday was sold at a Long Island grocery store. The top prize-winning TAKE 5 ticket – worth $34,038 – was purchased in Huntington Station, at the King Kullen located at 275 West Jericho Turnpike, New York Lottery announced.
