Man Found Dead In CT Stream Was Strangled, Police Say The death of a Connecticut man who was found face down in a stream has been ruled a homicide by strangulation by the state Medical Examiner's Office. The New Haven man, identified as Miguel Rivera, age 62, was found in a stream around 7:10 a.m. on Friday, July 19, in a stream in the area of Hemingway Street. According to Officer Christian Bruckhart of the New Haven Police, the medical examiner conducted a preliminary examination of Rivera on scene, and no signs of trauma were located at the time. The incident occurred in Orange County around 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 23, in Pine Island on Amity Road. Kevin Llewellyn, age 31, of Stamford, was charged on Saturday, July 7 in Stamford. Norwalk Man Charged With Assaulting, Injuring Co-Worker In Wilton A Fairfield County man has been charged with allegedly assaulting and seriously injuring a co-worker during a dispute. The incident occurred in Wilton on Tuesday, July 16, at Premier Firewood Company on Pimpewaug Road.  According to Lt. Anna Tornello of the Wilton Police, an investigation found that Bonifacio Trejo-Vargas, age 44, of Norwalk, assaulted his co-worker during a dispute. The coworker sustained serious physical injury, Tornello said. Trejo-Vargas was charged with assault and released after posting seven percent of a $2,500 court-set bond.
