Dump Truck With Raised Bed Snags Wires, Flips Over In Dutchess County
A dump truck overturned in Dutchess County after its raised body caught overhead wires, lifting the front of the truck off the ground, police said.
The incident happened in LaGrange, New York State Police announced on Monday, Aug. 10.
According to police, the dump truck was driven from a yard while its dump body was still raised.
As the truck moved, its cab guard caught overhead communication lines, causing its front axle to lift off the ground, State Police said. The truck then rolled onto its passenger side.

A driver was freed from a mangled vehicle after a head-on crash involving a pickup truck and minivan on a busy Putnam County road.
