Duo Steals $1K-Plus Motorized Scooter In Hudson Valley: Police
Two people are facing felony charges after police say they stole a motorized scooter worth more than $1,000 from the parking lot of a local business in Sullivan County.
Liberty residents Santos Rodriquez, 30, and Taron Stephens, 42, were arrested on Tuesday, July 14, following an investigation into the theft, the Village of Liberty Police Department announced on Thursday, July 16.
The investigation began earlier on Tuesday, when the department received a report of a motorized scooter that had been stolen earlier in the day.
