Trumbull Teen Robbed at Gunpoint, Dirt Bike Stolen By Convicted Felon: Police A 14-year-old Trumbull teen was robbed at gunpoint on New Year's Eve while riding his dirt bike on the Rails to Trails path, authorities said. Giovanni DeJesus, 19, of Bridgeport, was arrested shortly after the incident, recovering the stolen bike and an illegal firearm, Bridgeport police said. Meriden Man Sexually Abused 6-Year-Old Child Repeatedly For Years: Police A Meriden man is facing multiple felony charges following a months-long investigation into disturbing allegations of child sexual assault and abuse. Adaliz Rojas, 32, was arrested on Dec. 14, in New Haven after investigators with the Special Crimes Unit (SCU) obtained a warrant accusing him of years of abuse involving a 6-year-old child, Meriden police said. 18-Year-Old Seriously Injured In Glastonbury New Year's Eve Crash An 18-year-old Connecticut woman was seriously injured after she crashed into multiple trees on New Year's Eve, authorities said. The Manchester teen was driving west on Route 2 in Glastonbury when for an unknown reason her Mazda2 left the road near Exit 10 and crashed into some nearby trees, authorities said. Lynn Man Dies After Apartment Fire; Marks State's 40th Fire Fatality Of Year A Massachusetts man who was severely injured in an apartment fire over the weekend has died, authorities said. The man, a Lynn resident in his 40s, was found unconscious on the third floor of a six-family apartment building at 104-106 Lewis St. around 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28, the State Fire Marshal's Office said.
