A man with a lengthy felony record has been convicted of breaking into a family's Orange County home in broad daylight and stealing a laptop, watch, and money, prosecutors said.
Newburgh resident Jorge Martinez, 65, was found guilty by an Orange County jury on Thursday, Sept. 24, of second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief, and petit larceny in connection with the December 2019 break-in in the Town of Newburgh, according to the Orange County District Attorney's Office.
