23-Year-Old Hudson Valley Woman Remembered For Her 'Overwhelmingly Desire To Help Others' As family and friends say a final goodbye to a 23-year-old woman from the region who died after being struck in the head by a passing train, she is being remembered for her desire to help others. Putnam County resident, Hope Mantovi, of Mahopac, was struck around 8:30 p.m., Saturday, March 19, in Woodlawn in the Bronx, said Metropolitan Transportation Authority officials. Tainted Cocaine Suspected In Multiple Deaths In Westchester, NYC After five deaths related to tainted cocaine in Westchester and New York City, police are working to identify the person responsible for distributing the deadly substance before more die. The first Yonkers death, of an unidentified man took place on Friday, Sept. 20, the second, of another unidentified man, happened on Saturday, Sept. 21, said Yonkers Police Det. Sgt.
