Man Sentenced For Repeated Sexual Abuse Of Child In Rockland
A 43-year-old man was sentenced to 16 years in prison after pleading guilty to the repeated sexual abuse of a child under the age of 13. Blair Bretton of Garnerville was sentenced Thursday, Aug. 8, to the 16 years, in addition to 25 years of post-release supervision, said Acting Rockland County District Attorney Kevin Gilleece. Bretton was arrested for the repeated sexual abuse of a child less than 13-years-old during a nine-month period beginning in July 2018. Rockland County Sheriff Issues Alert For Man Wanted On Family Court Warrant
Seen him? The Rockland County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down a man wanted on an active Family Court warrant. According to police, Jeffrey Thomas, 29, has a last known address in Spring Valley, though the Detective Bureau “has received information indicating that Thomas no longer lives at aforementioned (address).” Thomas also has an active bench warrant out for his arrest from the Village of Spring Valley Police Department. Man Nabbed For Attempted Murder In Ramapo
A 33-year-old man is facing an attempted murder charge in Rockland after being tracked down by police following a lengthy investigation. The Ramapo Police Department announced the arrest of Kleber Toaza-Guasco, who has been charged with second-degree attempted murder, dating back to an incident that took place in 2012. Police said that there has been a warrant out in Ramapo for nearly six years, and detectives have been actively investigating the incident since it was reported.
