Man Indicted For Shooting Toddler, Murdering Child's Brother, Parents In Area Home Invasion
A 30-year-old man charged with murdering three members of a family and attempting to kill a toddler during a home invasion at a home in the area has been indicted by a grand jury.
Orange County resident Kaliek Goode-Ford, 30, of Newburgh, was indicted on Friday, Feb. 7 and charged with three counts of murder in connection with the Jan. 26, shooting of three members of a Town of Newburgh family, and the attempted murder of a 3-year-old boy he allegedly shot five times, said the Orange County District Attorney Dave Hoovler.

Police Searching For Serial Armed Robber In Area
Police are searching for an armed man who has allegedly robbed three gas station/convenience stores at gunpoint in the area.
The robberies in Orange County began on Jan. 25, with the latest taking place around 1:17 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 5, said Town of Newburgh Police Lt. James Nenni.
The suspect is described as a stocky black male, between 5-foot-10 and 6-feet tall, wearing a dark blue or black hooded sweatshirt, and dark-colored pants, Nenni said.

ID Released For Woman Killed In Multi-Vehicle Route 9W Crash
Police have released the identity of a woman killed during a mulitple-vehicle crash on Route 9W in the town of Newburgh.
Barbara Moloney, 78, of Marlboro, was killed during a four-vehicle crash that took place around 1:40 p.m., Wednesday, June 19, on Route 9W, north of Lattintown Road, said Town of Newburgh Police Lt. James Nenni.
The other three drivers received treatment for less serious injuries, Nenni said.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation and no further information on anyone else involved is being released at this time, he added.

Four From Poughkeepsie Charged In Connection With Murder
Four men from Poughkeepsie were arraigned Wednesday on felony charges in connection with a fatal shooting in Newburgh.
Steven Williams, 29, and Donnell Johnson, 24, were charged with second-degree murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, tampering with physical evidence; possession of a revolver, and a host of other charges.
