At 9:14 p.m., police responded to Long Shot Pistol and Rifle at 375 County Ave. on a report of a dispute between a patron and an employee, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said. Man Assaulted Four People With Weapon: Newark PD A 40-year-old Newark man was arrested and charged with assaulting four men on the morning of Tuesday, Aug. 20, authorities said. At 7:47 a.m., police responded to Central Avenue and South 10th Street on a report of a man, Khalif Judd, assaulting four men using an object held inside a black bag, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. Judd was arrested and charged with four counts of aggravated assault and one count of possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, Fragé said. The incident remain under investigation, Fragé said.

Bus Driver, Passenger Arrested After Physical Fight: Newark PD A bus driver and a passenger were both arrested on Friday, Aug. 16 after they got into a physical altercation in Newark, authorities said. At noon, police responded to a report of a fight aboard a NJ Transit bus at Broad Street and Lafayette Street, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said.  The passenger spat on the driver after a verbal altercation, Fragé said. Both were charged with aggravated assault, Fragé said. The incident remains under investigation, Fragé said.
