Martinsville Firefighter Severely Injured In Crash Day Before Father's Greek Burial Support is on the rise for a New Jersey firefighter who was severely injured in a car crash the night before he was set his father's burial in Greece. Anthony Zougras, a Martinsville firefighter, was in the crash on Wednesday, Aug. 7, according to a GoFundMe set up to support his medical expenses. Two People Fatally Struck By Truck In Elizabeth IDed: Authorities Two people in their 20s were fatally struck by a truck in Elizabeth on the evening of Sunday, Aug. 19, authorities said. Man Found Dead Inside Vehicle: Newark PD A man was found dead inside a vehicle in Newark on the afternoon of Wednesday, Aug. 21, authorities said. At 4:01 p.m., police responded to Jones Street near Springfield Avenue on a report of an unresponsive male inside a vehicle, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said.
