A traffic stop on Long Island ended with a man and woman in handcuffs for weapons charges, authorities said.
Officers stopped the suspects’ Mercedes C320 just before 11 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, in Uniondale after observing a traffic infraction on Smith Street, Nassau County Police said.
While searching the vehicle, police reportedly found a loaded 9mm handgun inside.

Four men are facing weapons charges after State Police allegedly busted a speeding driver on a Westchester County highway.
Troopers first spotted the suspect’s vehicle at around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, as it drove through Yonkers on the Sprain Brook Parkway.
The BMW 440 was traveling in excess of 100 mph, according to police.

Federal agents apprehended a 44-year-old fugitive in New York, where they say he was trafficking large amounts of cocaine and fentanyl.
Benito Bello, from Lawrence, Massachusetts, who also goes by the name Zuriel Ayala Rodriguez, was arrested in the Bronx on Wednesday, Aug. 10, the DEA said.
Agents said Bello had a kilo of cocaine and 14 kilos of the synthetic opioid inside the home where a minor child also lived.

Tyrone Vick, age 24, of Floral Park, was arrested following an investigation on Wednesday, Jan. 5, according to the Nassau County Police Department.
