Five-Alarm Fire Breaks Out At Old Brookville Mansion A car fire led to a five-alarm blaze that broke out and destroyed a mansion on Long Island, leaving a firefighter injured with heat exhaustion. Approximately 150 firefighters from nearly two dozen area fire departments responded to the blaze in Old Brookville on Linden Lane, after a fire was reported that originated out of a garage late on Wednesday, July 24, fire officials said.
