Man Nabbed With Gun, Drugs During Police Foot Patrol At Housing Complex In Bridgeport A Fairfield County man has been charged with alleged possession of a firearm and drugs following a detail at a housing complex that had seen an influx of drugs and shots fired. The incident occurred in Bridgeport on Tuesday, Aug. 20, at the Trumbull Gardens on Trumbull Avenue. According to Sgt. Beloved Former Greenwich PD Officer Dies At Age 76 The Greenwich Police Department is mourning the loss of one its retired longtime beloved officers. Sergeant Richard Daly Jr., age 76, died on Friday, Aug. 23, the department said. Daly was born on Sept. 11, 1947, and raised in Stamford. Prior to becoming a Greenwich Police officer, he served in the US Army from 1967 to 1971.   During his career as a police officer, he served in the Patrol and Detective Divisions before being promoted to Sergeant in 1998. Waterbury 28-Year-Old Killed After Crashing Into Parked Car A 28-year-old Connecticut man was killed in a single-vehicle crash after being ejected and hitting a parked car. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 7:19 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 25, on Hill Street at Pilgrim Avenue in Waterbury.  According to Waterbury Police Lt.
