Jaden Omaree Johnson, of Hempstead, was identified as the man who died from his injuries following a shooting that happened in Hempstead at about 10:10 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, according to an update from the Nassau County Police Department on Tuesday, June 7.
NCPD said officers responded to a report of shots fired in front of 77 Terrace Ave. and found four people suffering from gunshot wounds.
Johnson was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after 10:50 p.m., police said.
A 23-year-old Hempstead man, a 35-year-old Westbury man, and a 31-year-old Hempstead man were also hospitalized with injuries from the shooting and were listed in stable condition, police said.
Police are asking the public for help identifying the suspect or suspects involved in the case.
