Hudson Valley Man Caught Spray Painting American/Israeli Flag, Police Say A Hudson Valley man was caught in the act of allegedly defacing a joint American/Israeli flag with spray paint, police said. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 4:20 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3, in the Monsey area of Ramapo. According to Lt. Chris Franklin of the Ramapo Police, a patrol officer spotted the man wearing a face mask while walking on Main Street in Monsey. He watched as the man, identified as Benzion Rivlin, age 33, of Monsey, approached a joint American and Israeli flag on the property of a business located at 45 Main St., Franklin said. Theft Of Israeli Flag: 15-Year-Old Nabbed After Incident At Town Hall In Hudson Valley A boy was apprehended shortly after he allegedly stole an Israeli flag in broad daylight from in front of a town hall in the Hudson Valley on Thanksgiving Day. Officers in Rockland County responded to Clarkstown Town Hall at around 12:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 23 for reports that the Israeli flag was stolen from the pole on which it was flying. A witness stated to police dispatchers that an unknown male wearing dark clothing was observed ripping the flag from its pole and was running toward Route 304.  A responding officer located him on Congers Road just east of Route 304…
