The state police conducted an underage drinking enforcement operation in Putnam County on Saturday, officials report.
Seven retail establishments were checked by using plainclothes investigators supported by uniformed troopers, according to police.
All were found to be compliant with state laws, police report.
The state police were assisted by the Carmel Police Department, according to officials.
State police, with investigative support provided by the New York State Liquor Authority, routinely conduct underage drinking enforcement operations throughout the state in an effort to curb alcohol abuse and DWI incidents among teenagers.
