Putnam Sheriff Seeks Public's Help Finding Man Wanted For Bail Jumping, DWI

PUTNAM COUNTY, N. Y. -- The Putnam County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in finding Alberto J. Santiago, 48, who has been wanted for close to 20 years to answer DWI and other charges.

Sheriff's police said the bench warrant was issued on Oct. 24 after he failed to show in Putnam County Superior Court to answer the charges of first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, second-degree driving while intoxicated and bail jumping.

Police describe him as male with black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5-foot, 8-inches, 140 pounds, police said.
