Sydney Towle, a New England-born TikToker who has been documenting her battle with a rare cancer for three years, has died. She was 26 years old.
Towle, who was raised in New Hampshire and graduated from Dartmouth, was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive bile duct cancer, in 2023. Congers resident Dylan Schneider, 28, was arrested on Tuesday, Aug. 4, following an investigation into his alleged possession of child sexual abuse material, New York State Police announced on Wednesday, Aug, 5.

A gas pump exploded at a public office in Albany on Tuesday, Aug. 4, sending two employees to the hospital, authorities said.
Wayne Brennan, a 62-year-old Albany firefighter, was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center for treatment of severe burn injuries, according to the Albany Police Department and his family.
