A section of the Southern State Parkway has reopened after a fatal crash with several injuries.
The crash took place around 1:58 p.m., Wednesday, April 24, near Exit 35 in Farmingdale, said the state police.
At least one person was airlifted, and two others have been transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment. The extent of injuries could not be confirmed.
Motorists were asked to avoid the area as the roadway remained closed through the evening commute for the accident investigation. The roadway reopened at around 7 p.m.
