IDs Released Of 2 Men, 2 Women Killed In Wrong-Way I-95 Crash The identities have been released of two men and two women all in their 20s who were killed in a horrific wrong-way crash on a stretch of I-95 in Connecticut. It happened at around 1:25 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 25 in New Haven County on the southbound side when a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes in West Haven, Connecticut State Police said.  The pickup truck then crashed into a Nissan Altima while in the left lane.  Following impact, the Silverado entered the center lane and collided with a southbound Nissan Sentra.&…

IDs Now Released For Both Men Killed In Wrong-Way Long Island Crash The identities have now been released for both men killed in a wrong-way crash on Long Island. Emergency crews were called at around 9:40 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, with reports of a two-car crash in West Babylon, on Route 109 near Platt Avenue, according to Suffolk County Police. ID Released For Man Killed In Wrong-Way Wantagh Parkway Crash The identity has been released of a person killed in a wrong-way crash on Long Island as well as for a man who was hospitalized. The crash happened on the Wantagh State Parkway just south of the Southern State Parkway in Wantagh at around 5:15 a.m. Thursday, Aug.13. Alexander Simek, 73, of Albrightsville, Pennsylvania, was driving a 2019 Chevrolet northbound in the southbound lanes when he struck a 2014 Honda, state police said. The Honda was driven by Jay Lasker, 54, of North Bellmore, according to police.  Simek succumbed to his injuries at the scene, said police.  …
