A dramatic video shows the moment an alleged drunk driver hits a woman and her baby before plowing into a Westchester barbershop and the intense rescue by two hero cops that followed.
The incident took place around 8:30 a.m., Friday, July 23, at 124 Lake Ave., in Yonkers, when David Poncurak, age 43, was driving north on Morningside Avenue when he turned into the westbound lane of Lake Avenue, Yonkers Police Sergeant Frank DiDomizio said.

Two more former aides to Andrew Cuomo are accusing him of sexual misconduct, bringing the number of women who have publically said they were sexually harassed by the New York governor to five.
Ana Liss, who was Cuomo's policy and operations aide between 2013 and 2015, said he kissed her hand, touched her on her lower back, called her sweetheart, and asked if she had a boyfriend. The 35-year-old Liss made her allegations in an interview with The Wall Street Journal.

Popular Westchester Musician Robert Lopez Dies Suddenly At 40
A well-known musician from Westchester who grew up on Long Island, Robert L. Lopez, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Aug. 22, at age 40.
He was born on Aug. 22, 1979, in Port Jefferson. He was a New Rochelle resident and was "a dedicated and loyal employee for the local Shoprite," the obituary said.
Lopez was a passionate Yankees fan and had a love for music. He composed his own lyrics, enjoyed singing his songs and playing his guitar. He performed regularly at clubs in New York City.
