Fatal Shooting: Man Found Dead In Driveway Of Long Island Home A Long Island man was found shot dead in his driveway after police responded to a report of shots fired. The incident took place in Bay Shore around 4:50 p.m., Thursday, March 9 at 31 Walbridge Ave. Detectives are investigating after finding Jose Manuel Sosa, age 36, shot in his driveway, Suffolk County Police said. Sosa was transported to South Shore University Hospital where he died from his injuries. The man's identity has not yet been released.
