20-Year-Old Woman Admits Driving 100 MPH In Double-Fatal Long Island Crash
A 20-year-old Long Island woman has pleaded guilty to speeding through a red light and crashing into a dump truck, killing two.
Nylah Frazier, age 20, of West Hempstead, entered her plea for the 2021 crash on Thursday, Feb. 8, according to the Nassau County District Attorney.
At around 1 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021, Frazier was driving her BMW X3 north on Westminster Road in West Hempstead with two passengers: Amanda Arguinzoni, age 17, and Kurtis Caesar, age 19.

Woman Hit, Killed At Long Island Intersection
A woman died after being struck by a vehicle in a Long Island intersection, authorities said.
It happened on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at approximately 6:50 a.m. in West Hempstead, according to Nassau County Police.
Cathy Leary, age 75, was crossing Cornwell Avenue at the intersection of Wildwood Road when she was struck by a 2019 Hyundai SUV that was traveling east on Cornwell Avenue.
Leary, a resident of West Hempstead, was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.
The driver, who was 19 years old, remained at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
Woman Struck, Killed By Compact SUV At Long Island Parking Lot
An investigation is underway after a woman was struck and killed by a compact SUV at a Long Island parking lot.
The incident happened around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13 in Deer Park.
Anita Levitt, age 80, of Deer Park, was parked in a handicapped parking space in front of 1944 Deer Park Ave. when she lost control of her 2020 Toyota Rav4, hopped two curbs and entered the rear parking lot of 1948 Deer Park Ave., Suffolk County Police said.
She then struck Mary Ferrara, 85, of Deer Park, who was standing outside her 2010 Ford Fusion, according to police.

IDs Released For Two Victims Of Triple-Fatal Crash Involving Three Women In Mount Sinai
The identities of two of the three women killed in a fiery single-vehicle crash on Long Island have been released.
The crash happened around 11 p.m., Monday, July 8 in Mount Sinai when the 2010 black Jeep Liberty left the roadway and hit a utility pole, causing it to fall on the driver's side, and burst into flames, said the Suffolk County Police.
The two victims ID'd are Dorien Lashea Brown, 23, of Mount Sinai, and Rebecca Minunno, 24, of Hampton Bays. The identity of the third woman is pending, police said late Wednesday morning, July 10.
