Long Island Woman Who Drove 75 MPH In 45 MPH Zone Charged With DWI, Sheriff Says An early morning speeding stop on Montauk Highway led to the arrest of a 23-year-old woman from Long Island who was allegedly driving with a blood alcohol content nearly double the legal limit, the Suffolk County Sheriff said. Sayville resident Synthia Hinze was stopped at approximately 3:21 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21 on Montauk Highway in Bayport after she was clocked driving 75 mph in a posted 40 mph zone with no tail lights on, the Sheriff said.
