Trio Apprehended In String Of Dunkin' Burglaries In Suffolk County
An investigation into a string of burglaries of Dunkin' locations on Long Island led to charges for three people.
Two people broke into Dunkin', located at 1105 Horseblock Road in Farmingville, at about 3:40 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 20, the Suffolk County Police Department reported.
They stole cash and left the scene in a waiting vehicle, which detectives pulled over a short time later, SCPD said.
Police arrested the driver, identified as 54-year-old Michael Gruber, and the passengers, 51-year-old Kristen Osmolia and 44-year-old Christopher Volpe, authorities reported.

Three Busted During Underage Alcohol Sting Operation On Long Island, Police Say
Three people have been charged with selling alcohol to minors during an investigation into stores on Long Island.
The sting effort, conducted by Riverhead Police and the Riverhead Community Awareness Program took place on Thursday, June 16, in an effort to reduce the sale of alcohol to underage children, the police department said.

Man Armed With Broken Bottle Robs Long Island Gas Station Employee, Police Say
A man is behind bars, accused of robbing a Long Island gas station employee.
It happened early Friday, May 6, at the Sunoco station in Inwood, on Burnside Avenue, according to Nassau County Police.
The male suspect walked into the store at around 2:30 a.m., grabbed a glass bottle, smashed it on the counter, and then used it to threaten the 32-year-old male worker, police said.
He reportedly grabbed the victim’s cell phone and ripped a Lotto computer from the counter, damaging it.
Officers arrived in time to arrest the suspect and recover the victim’s property.

Trio Nabbed For Long Island Gas Station Robberies
Three men who allegedly robbed two Long Island gas stations on Christmas Day have been apprehended, police announced.
Devonte Burgess and Shaquawn Humphrey, both of Wyandanch, entered the Shell gas station, located at 170 Bay Shore Road in North Babylon at approximately 10:40 a.m. Friday, Dec. 25, Suffolk County Police said.
One of the suspects displayed a knife and demanded cigarettes and cash, according to police.
The employee complied with their demands.
A third man, Fleeton Allen, 53, of Huntington Station, waited in a red Dodge minivan, according to police.

Video: Naked Man Charged After Dancing In Gas Station Parking Lot In Westchester
Visitors to a Sunoco gas station in Westchester might have done a double take if they happened to catch a view of a large naked man dancing in the parking lot.
The man, who police did not identify, but said was from Hobe Sound, Florida, was arrested around 10:10 p.m., on Tuesday, June 11, when officers responded to a 911 call from the gas station in the village of Mamaroneck at 540 Mamaroneck Ave., who reported a man was acting "erratically," said Mamaroneck Police Lt.
