A 22-year-old woman suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Long Island. The crash happened in Huntington Station at about 5:15 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 14, according to the Suffolk County Police Department. A 25-year-old man was airlifted to the hospital after crashing a car into two utility poles and a fire hydrant on Long Island. The crash happened on Route 109 in East Farmingdale near the Southern State Parkway at about 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, according to the Suffolk County Police Department. A Long Island man was seriously injured when his leg became entangled in a stump grinder, police said. The Suffolk County Police Department said an employee of Traditional Tree Service of Smithtown was working at a home located in the 100 block of Ryder Avenue in Dix Hills on Friday, July 16.
