Trio Steals Over $6K From Dunkin’ Donuts Stores On Long Island, DA Says
Three people are facing charges after allegedly breaking in and stealing thousands of dollars from several Dunkin’ Donuts locations on Long Island.
The burglaries occurred at five Dunkin’ stores in Suffolk County between December 2022 and January 2023, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
Investigators said Michael Gruber, age 54, of Medford, drove to and from each burglary, while Christopher Volpe, age 44, of Patchogue, allegedly pried open the back doors before stealing cash from the registers.

An accused drug dealer is facing multiple charges in connection to a Long Island woman’s overdose death.
Jaquan Casserly, age 34, of Holbrook, was arraigned in Suffolk County Court Friday, Jan. 27, months after allegedly selling fentanyl to a Lake Grove woman who later died, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
Police were called to the woman’s home on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022 with reports of an apparent overdose. The woman’s mother found her unresponsive in a bathroom, according to investigators.

A 16-year-old Long Island boy is facing attempted murder charges for allegedly mowing down two pedestrians with his car before crashing into another driver, prosecutors said.
Christopher Hernandez, age 16, of Brentwood, was formally indicted on multiple charges that include two counts of attempted murder, assault, and reckless endangerment, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office announced Friday, Jan. 6.
