Long Island Man Charged With Ripping Off Customers For More Than $325K, DA Says
A Long Island businessman has been charged with grand larceny for the alleged theft of more than $325,000 from some of his customers and a payroll company.
Mark Ripolone, age 34, of Montauk, was arrested on Monday, June 6, and charged with five counts of grand larceny, said Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney.
Ripolone owned “123 Delivery,” a food delivery service, and “Hampton Management Group Inc.,” a beach service company that specialized in providing luxury beach chair setups and decorations for special events, the DA's office said.

Town Employee In Suffolk Arraigned For Stealing Property
An employee of a Long Island town was arraigned after authorities said he stole and sold town property worth thousands of dollars.
Robert Chura, age 29, of Selden, was arraigned on Thursday, Jan. 6, after he was accused of stealing tools from the Town of Huntington and selling them, according to an announcement from Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney.
Chura was charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree grand larceny, and official misconduct, the DA's Office said.
