Two Men Confront Woman In Driveway Of Her Smithtown Home, Steal Money, Checks, Police Say Police are investigating an incident during which a Long Island woman was allegedly confronted outside her home by two men who stole money and checks. The incident took place in Smithtown around 9:40 a.m., Tuesday, July 26, as the woman stood in her driveway on Grandview Lane.
