Human Remains Found In North Babylon Police are seeking to public's help to identify human remains that were found on Long Island. A 911 caller reported finding the skeletal remains in a wooded area of Southards Pond Park in North Babylon, south of Sunrise Highway, on Feb.15, 2023, at approximately 1 p.m.  Following an investigation by Homicide Squad detectives, the cause of death was determined to be non-criminal in nature. Severed Remains Case: ID Released For Male Victim From Westchester For the first time, police have publicly named the second of two murder victims whose dismembered remains were found strewn across Long Island. In an update to the case on Friday, March 22, Suffolk County Police identified the male victim as 53-year-old former Westchester County resident Malcolm Brown, whose last known address is in Yonkers.
