Reckless Driver Hits Another Vehicle On Long Island, Police Say
An alleged reckless, erratic driver who hit another vehicle has been arrested on Long Island.
Kason Andre Robinson Sunley, age 22, of Hampton, Virginia, was arrested on Wednesday, July 28, after Southampton Town Police responded to a 911 call of a reckless driver in Hampton Bays.
The caller, who was on the phone with police during the incident, told officers that Sunley was following another vehicle closely and honking his horn. The driver then struck the caller’s vehicle and attempted to flee, Southampton Police said.

Mother Faces Kidnapping Charge After Missing Long Island Infant Found Safe In Delaware
A missing 6-month-old infant girl from Long Island has been found safe in another state, after allegedly being taken by her mother, officials announced.
Southampton Town Police spent hours searching for the baby girl, of Hampton Bays, who has been missing since Tuesday, July 12, said Lt. Susan Ralph.
The baby was reported missing by her father on Thursday, July 15, who said he believed the baby was taken by her mother, Sarah Payne, of Shelter Island, and could be in Wilmington, Delaware, Ralph said.

Three Nabbed For Speeding, Refusing To Stop For Officers On Long Island, Police Say
Three men who were allegedly driving vehicles at a high rate of speed on Long Island and refused to stop for police before crashing have been arrested.
The men were spotted traveling westbound on the Montauk Highway at a high rate of speed around 9:50 p.m., Sunday, June 6, by a Southampton Town Police police officer, said Lt. Susan Ralph.
The officer activated lights and sirens in an attempt to stop the three vehicles, but all three refused to stop, she said.

Long Island Woman Charged With DWI After Hitting Telephone Pole, Police Say
A Long Island woman was arrested for alleged DWI after losing control of her vehicle and crashing into a telephone pole.
Shanna Nelson, age 39, of Hampton Bays, was arrested around 7:45 p.m., on Wednesday, March 31, after Southampton Town Police responded to a traffic crash, said Sgt. Eric Sickles.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found Nelson still sitting in the driver’s seat of a 2020 Jeep, with the airbags deployed, Sickles said.
A further investigation revealed that Nelson was operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, he added.
