Sag Harbor Man Charged With Boating While Intoxicated After Three Injured In Crash, Police Say A Sag Harbor man was arrested for allegedly driving a boat while intoxicated after crashing into a dock and then overturning the vessel. Gary Lucas, 66, was arrested around 11:30 p.m., Saturday, July 20, and charged with boating while intoxicated, after crashing into a dock and then flipping the boat, said Southampton Town Police Department Det. Lt. James Kiernan. Police responded to 370 Ferry Road in Northaven, and found five people were on board the 39-foot-vessel, including Lucas, who was the captain, when the crash occurred, Kiernan said.
