Suffolk County Will Notify Anyone Whose Data Was Compromised In Cyber Attack, Bellone Says
Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone announced that residents whose private information is comprised due to a cyber attack this month will be notified by county officials. Cybercriminals on the "dark web" hacked into the county government system on Thursday, Sept. 8, and since that time have demanded a "ransom," to get the system back online, although county officials have not confirmed a ransom has been demanded. Police Release Background Information On 'Gilgo Four'
In a renewed commitment to solve the Gilgo Beach serial killer murders on Long Island, police are releasing new information on the first four of the 10 victims and have increased the reward amount to $50,000. Suffolk County Police Commissioner Rodney K. Police announced they have solved a decades-old murder mystery on Long Island using innovative DNA technology. Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney and Suffolk County Commissioner Rodney K. Two New York nurses are accused of making substantial profits by forging COVID-19 vaccination cards. The two are Long Island residents Julie DeVuono, age 49, the owner of Wild Child Pediatric Healthcare in Amityville, and an employee at the facility, 44-year-old Marissa Urraro.
