Red Lobster plans to close more restaurants just weeks after it filed for bankruptcy, according to a new report.
In a bankruptcy petition filed on Sunday, May 19, the company listed assets of $1 billion and liabilities of $10 billion.
Days before the filing, dozens of Red Lobster locations were listed as "temporarily closed" on the company's website, including these New York locations:

Wednesday's Table in Southold is preparing to close for good after New Year's Eve, Saturday, Dec. 31, with the owner announcing that some items may soon disappear from the menu.

Popular Restaurant In Lake Grove Closes After Decades In Business
A popular barbecue restaurant has permanently closed after serving Long Islanders for more than 60 years.
The Good Steer had its last night of service on Saturday, July 9, the owners announced.
The eatery, known for its burgers, onion rings, and barbecue dishes, first opened its doors in 1957.
The restaurant was located at 2810 Middle Country Road in Lake Grove.

Popular Bellmore Eatery To Close After 26 Years In Business
After 26 years in business, a popular Long Island eatery is preparing to close its doors.
Zorn's of Bellmore will have its last day of business on Sunday, March 27, the eatery announced on Monday, March 14.
The owner is retiring and plans to move south with his family, Zorn's said.
