Seen Him? Man Wanted In Melville Burglary Investigation Authorities asked the public for help locating a man who is wanted in a residential burglary investigation on Long Island. A man broke a window screen at a Melville home on Gaston Street at about 1:20 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18, Suffolk County Police reported on Wednesday, Aug. 24. Authorities said no items were reported missing, and police are investigating whether the man entered the home or not. Man Accused Of Burglarizing East Meadow Home A 29-year-old man is accused of breaking into a Long Island home and stealing credit cards. Philip Dayton was arrested at 12:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 1, for a residential burglary that happened in East Meadow at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, the Nassau County Police Department reported.  NCPD said the victim and officers reviewed surveillance footage that showed Dayton breaking a window and entering the home.
