Elizabeth Dolce, 52, of Oak Beach, is accused of forcibly taking the 4-month-old German Shepherd from a 42-year-old woman who had been walking the dog near Beech Street and Glenwood Avenue around 2:52 p.m., according to Fourth Squad detectives. The incident happened just before 3:30 p.m. Saturday, July 27, in Point Lookout. The vessel was about a half-mile offshore when it began taking on water, according to Nassau County Police. Three Stranded Jet Skiers Rescued Off Point Lookout Three people on jet skis were rescued after becoming stranded off Point Lookout, the Nassau County Police said. Police received notice of three people stranded when notified by the U.S. Coast Guard of a distress call around 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 6, said the Nassau County Police. First responders from the Village of Hempstead and Point Lookout at Lido Beach Fire Department responded and rescued the three, reportedly a man and two boys, within a short time, police said.
