Two-Vehicle Crash Kills 21-Year-Old Long Island Man Police on Long Island are investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed one and injured another person. The crash took place at 2:50 p.m., Thursday, July 8, in North Patchogue, said the Suffolk County Police. Demetrius Hall, age 21, of Bellport, was traveling southbound on North Ocean Avenue in a 2003 Honda Accord when it veered into the northbound lane and collided with a 1995 Peterbilt truck, according to police. ID Released For 38-Year-Old Killed In I-87 Crash Involving Westchester Resident State Police have identified the driver of a tractor-trailer killed in a crash on I-87 in Rockland County. Victor M. Naula Lopez, age 38, of Whitestone, Queens, was killed around 5 a.m., Friday, March 12, on I-87 in Ramapo, said Trooper Tara McCormick. During the crash, Lopez was operating a 2018 Peterbilt tractor-trailer northbound on I-87, in the middle lane when a 2021 Toyota sideswiped the tractor-trailer, causing it to spin out and strike a 2011 Freightliner Semi, driven by Celso A.
