A home health aide has been accused of assaulting a victim on Long Island.
According to Nassau County Police detectives, a 68-year-old Searingtown man who suffers from a cognitive disorder needed the assistance of a live-in home health aide and hired Radica Barker, age 59, of Orlando, Florida, to provide care.

A former controller has been charged for stealing more than $340,000 from a company in Northern Westchester, authorities announced.
ToniAnn Rosado, who worked for CR Wallauer & Company in North Castle, was indicted for stealing more than $340,000 from the paint supply company between 2017 and 2019, Westchester County District Attorney Miriam E. Rocah said late Wednesday morning, June 29.

Long Island's MacArthur Airport Adds More Florida Flights
More flights will go to Florida from Long Island's MacArthur Airport starting in November.
The flight will run through March, according to the Town Of Islip.
The flight schedule includes ones to Fort Lauderdale throughout the year, not seasonally, and an increase in Orlando flights from one to two times a day, every day but Tuesday,
