Nassau County Police detectives said that a 27-year-old man was driving a box truck east on Old Northern Boulevard near Tatterson Street in Roslyn at 4:49 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14 when he struck a Ford van in the intersection. Long Island Woman In Stolen Vehicle Caught With Loaded Gun, Police Say A traffic stop resulted in the discovery of a woman driving a stolen car with a loaded gun on Long Island, police said. It happened on Friday, Aug. 23 just after 9:30 p.m. in Roslyn. According to Nassau County Police, Danisha Patterson, 27, of Elmont, was observed by officers operating a 2016 white Nissan Maxima. The vehicle moved from a lane unsafely and officers activated their emergency lights and conducted a Vehicle and Traffic Law stop on Old Northern Boulevard, police said.
