$10K Winning NY Lottery Ticket Sold At Long Island Store
One lucky person was sold a winning lottery ticket at a Long Island shop, lottery officials said.
The winning ticket, worth $10,352.50, was part of the Take 5 Midday drawing on Saturday, May 6, was sold at the West Islip OM Popular C&G, located at 522 Union Boulevard, the NY Lottery announced.
Take 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39, with drawings televised twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
According to lottery officials, a lottery draw prize can be claimed for up to a year from the date of the drawing.
'Truly A Blessing': NY Woman Wins $1M Lottery Prize
A woman won a $1 million prize from a New York Lottery scratch-off ticket.
Montgomery County resident Valerie Kevlin, of Amsterdam, claimed a top prize from the lottery's X Series: 20X game, NY Lottery announced on Tuesday, Aug. 30.
Kevlin received her prize as a single, lump-sum payment of $546,840 after required withholdings, the lottery said.
"It is truly a blessing," Kevlin told NY Lottery after claiming her prize.
The winning ticket was purchased at Stewart’s Shops, which is located at 4192 Route 30 in Amsterdam, the lottery said.
NY Woman Claims '$5,000 A Week For Life' Lottery Prize
A New York woman is celebrating after she won a lottery prize worth millions of dollars.
Christina Merry won the "$5,000 A Week For Life" prize from the lottery's "Set For Life" scratch-off game, the Lottery announced on Friday, Jan. 28.
Merry is from Glenfield in Lewis County, which is located about 35 miles from Watertown.
NY Lottery said Merry chose to receive her prize as a single, lump-sum payment of $2,820,543 after required withholdings.
"I’m going to pay some bills and then, we’ll see," Merry told NY Lottery after claiming her prize.

New York Woman Claims $1,000 A Week For Life Lottery Prize
A New York woman has claimed a $1,000 A Week For Life lottery prize.
Antonia Rodriguez, of Manhattan, claimed the second prize prize in the New York Lottery's CASH4LIFE game, according to an announcement from NY Lottery on Thursday, Jan. 13.
She opted to receive her prize as a single, lump-sum payment of $612,240 after required withholdings.
"Keep dreaming," Rodriguez told NY Lottery when asked what advice she has for fellow lottery players.
The ticket was purchased at Dyckman Convenience, which is located at 100 Dyckman St. in Manhattan, NY Lottery said.
