Intoxicated Driver Crashes Into Utility Police In North Haven, Police Say A 57-year-old man was charged after police said he drove while intoxicated and crashed into a utility pole on Long Island. John Wrynn, of Sag Harbor, was arrested at about 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 9, following a crash in North Haven, the Southampton Town Police Department said. Authorities said Wrynn was driving east on Ferry Road when he traveled off the road and struck a utility pole. He was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, police reported.

Search Underway For Missing Kayaker Last Seen In North Haven Area Authorities on Long Island are searching for a missing kayaker.  The Southampton Town Police Department reported that it received a call on Thursday, Oct. 20, that 32-year-old Dario Cholula, of Queens, was missing after he went out fishing in the area of North Haven on Wednesday, Oct. 19. Cholula was last seen between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Wednesday, police said. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, authorities reported.
