Trio Steals Credit Cards, More During Long Island Larcenies: Police
Three people allegedly caught stealing from a Long Island Macy’s were arrested after police found that they were behind a string of other thefts. According to Nassau County Police, the incident occurred on Wednesday, June 12 in Manhasset. The trio — 20-year-old Qualiyah Shubrick-Shurley, 31-year-old Scott Clayton, and 20-year-old Samuel Battle — were spotted at the Macy’s located at 1100 Northern Boulevard, where they were allegedly taking merchandise and threatening to harm loss prevention officers. Police Search For Man Who Stole Bottles Of Perfume From LI Store, Threatened Clerk With Knife
Police are searching for a man who allegedly stuffed perfume bottles into his bag at a Long Island store and then threatened a store security guard before fleeing. The incident took place around 5:38 p.m., Monday, Nov. 30, at the Nordstrom Rack located at 1040 Old Country Road in East Garden City, Nassau County Police said. According to detectives, the man entered the store and walked to the fragrance counter where he began to load assorted perfumes into his personal bag.
