Suspect On Loose After Man Fatally Shot In NY Road Rage Incident Following Fender Bender A suspect is on the run after shooting and killing a man in broad daylight following a road rage incident in Forest Hills, Queens. The incident took around 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 at 108th Street and Horace Harding Expressway, according to the NYPD. When police arrived on the scene they found 46-year-old Jamal Artis, shot in the torso in a Chevy Impala, the NYPD said. Artis was rushed to New York Presbyterian Hospital in critical condition. Man Struck, Killed While Changing Tire On LI Expressway A 52-year-old man was killed while changing a tire on the Long Island Expressway. The crash was discovered around 12 a.m., Monday, July 26, when New York City Police responded to a 911 call of a male struck by a vehicle at Horace Harding Expressway and Main Street in Queens.  Officers who arrived at the scene found the man on the westbound Long Island Expressway, before the College Point Boulevard exit, said the NYPD. Covid-19: Hospitals Ordered To Increase Bed Capacity 50 Percent; NY Secures Emergency Supplies New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is ordering area hospitals to increase their capacity for beds by a minimum of 50 percent each as they prepare for a spike in cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the coming weeks. Cuomo also announced that the state has been busy and successful in securing emergency supplies for hospital workers, including 339,760 N-95 masks; 861,700 surgical masks; 353,500 gloves; 145,122 gowns and 197,085 face shields.
