ID Released For Man Killed Crossing Busy Long Island Roadway The 73-year-old man who was hit and killed while crossing a busy Long Island roadway early on New Year's Eve Day has been identified. According to the Nassau County Police Homicide Squad, the fatal accident took place around 6:55 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31, in Woodmere. Suspect Nabbed In Fatal Shooting At Medford House Party A Medford man has been charged in the fatal shooting of an East Patchogue man during a fight outside a house party over the weekend. Nassau County Police Homicide Squad detectives charged Corey Coach, 25, with manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon on Wednesdayy, July 10, police said.
