Seen Him? Alert Issued For Missing Long Island Man
Police are asking for help in locating a Long Island man who was reported missing. Peter MacDonald, age 49, was last seen leaving his Seaford residence at around 7 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26, according to Nassau County Police. He was driving a gray 2012 Toyota Sienna at the time. MacDonald is described as 5-foot-11 and is bald with blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, gray pants, and a blue shirt. Police are asking for the community’s assistance in locating a teen girl who went missing after last being seen on Long Island. Karina Flores, age 15, was last seen in Hempstead on Saturday, Jan. 6, according to Nassau County Police. Flores had been on Jackson Street at around 6:30 p.m. that day, police said. Fallen Menorah Causes Fire At Long Island Home
A holiday celebration was dampened when a fallen menorah candle caused a fire at a Long Island home. It happened on Wednesday, Dec. 13 in Woodbury, according to the Nassau County Police Department. At around 8:15 p.m., one of the candles in the family’s menorah fell over, igniting the tablecloth and spreading to a chair. Authorities are on the hunt for an unknown person who fired two shots at a residential Long Island home and fled the scene. The shooting occurred on Sunday, Oct. 15 in Plainview, Nassau County Police said. At approximately 2:30 a.m., a surveillance video showed an unknown suspect walking up to the home, located on Lillian Lane, and shot two rounds at the residence before turning around and fleeing.
