Outbreak Of Stomach Flu Hits Wantagh School District Cleanup crews were called to a Long Island school district after dozens of students came down with a stomach virus. All five schools in the Wantagh School District had to be disinfected, according to reports, after students began experiencing symptoms last week. In response, the schools were each scrubbed clean over the weekend as a precaution. According to the district, the Nassau County Health Department is currently monitoring the situation.
