Five-Alarm Fire Destroys Long Island Commercial Building
A five-alarm fire forced the evacuation of a commercial building on Long Island. The blaze broke out around 3:40 p.m., Wednesday, March 10 at the Advanced Powder Coating, located at 111 Magnolia Avenue, in New Cassel, said Nassau County Police. At least a dozen fire departments responded to the fire that caused the evacuation due to a collapsed roof, officials said.
